Core Reading Strategies
As a school, we have focused on several strategies that are crucial for being a good reader in all subject areas. These seven skills or strategies are; Connect, Predict, Visualize, Question, Clarify, Evaluate, and Infer. "Good readers" usually do these things without even knowing they are doing them, but struggling readers can use these skills to help them get the most out of reading.
