Dear Incoming 6th grade families,
We were so happy to welcome your student for a building tour last Monday with their fellow classmates. The students asked a lot of good questions and were definitely excited about their transition to middle school. They were able to meet staff members and current students in addition to seeing the building. As a follow up to our tours, here is a NEW video for families put together by Ms. Bolur and our student council members highlighting some key areas in the building.
And, for your ease, again, here are some previously shared resources. We recommend watching them with your student now, and then again in August as we begin to plan to return to school.

The Welcome to Bryan Presentation is for your family to view put together by our Bryan team.

This video is for families called a Day in the Life of a Sixth Grader at Bryan put together by our 6th grade team leaders.
Don’t forget please view The 6th Grade Immunization Letter from the D205 Health Services. All incoming 6th graders need to provide health records.
Lastly, please mark those calendars for the first day of school! Our first day will be a Locker Day on Wednesday, August 18th. 6th grade students and families will be invited during designated time slots in the morning. 7th and 8th grade families will be invited during designated time slots in the afternoon. More information will be shared in upcoming newsletters. Classes will proceed on a normal schedule on Thursday, August 19th.
We hope that your family has a wonderful summer. You will hear from us again in August as we gear up for the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
