PTA Volunteers Needed!

If you are interested in getting more involved at Bryan this year, please reach out to Kate Prasse,

Our current committees that need volunteers are:

  • Reflections: The PTA sponsors the Reflections program which is an arts recognition and achievement program for students.

  • Snack coordinators for IAR testing (2) April:  Order and bring snacks for IAR testing; coordinate with Mrs. Discipio and the front office to organize snacks for each class.  Budget listed in financials.

  • Veteran’s Day Liaison: Work with Mr. Tang and assist him with his needs from the PTA.

  • 8th Grade Luncheon/picnic (2): The PTA provides a promotion luncheon for the graduating students. Responsibilities include organizing, setup and cleanup.

  • Fundraising chairs and committees: We’d love some additional volunteers to assist with fundraising this year and have several opportunities for volunteers!

2022-2023 Theme Announced!

This year’s theme for Reflections, the national PTA arts program, has been announced! Your children are invited to create a piece of artwork in one of six categories that reflects this year’s theme, “I Am Hopeful Because…”. They can choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or story, compose a song, take photos, or create a piece of visual art, then explain how it relates to the theme. Our students have been recognized at the local, state, and national level in recent years. This is a great way for your children to earn recognition for their artistic talents. Last year, more than 225 district students participated and were recognized locally, nine received State awards, and three received Natioonal recognition. Entries are due by Friday, November 3 in the Bryan school office. For more information and entry guidelines, visit the D205 PTA Council website.
