BRYAN TREASURE HUNT FUNDRAISER
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW AND MORE...
The theme for this year is "THE GAMES PEOPLE PLAY'.
Registration for the Bryan Treasure Hunt Fundraiser opens on March 12th! Please read on for all the details about our only fundraiser. We have a new location, a new start time, a new way to register and of course, a new theme! But don’t worry, it will still be a ton of fun and a great way to support our Bryan students!
What is the Bryan Treasure Hunt Fundraiser? The Treasure Hunt is our only fundraiser of the year. JOIN US ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18TH. It’s an adults-only evening of fun like you've never experienced! Your team of up to six adults (less is fine) drives through Elmhurst following a treasure map of clues. Each car costs $300. Competing teams race to solve themed clues at each location and end the night with food, drinks, silent auction, raffles and music. Special recognition is given to the Top 10 teams to finish as well as awarded for Best Team Costumes! The hunt has sold out in the past, so sign up early! We only have space for 42 cars. It’s a great evening for a great cause: our Bryan students.
For all the latest info, please follow the Treasure Hunt Facebook page.
Lots of “NEWS”
New venue: This year, the hunt will start and end at the River Forest Country Club! We are excited to have the entire downstairs space for our adults only fundraiser. We will have food, CASH bar, auctions/raffles and lots more space to mingle and sit down to eat! IMPORTANT: When we say CASH BAR - we mean CASH ONLY. Credit cards cannot be accepted at this venue for drinks. Please plan ahead and hit the ATM before you arrive to have cash on hand for drinks and raffles. Thanks!
New online registration: Registration will be online in our MemberHub store this year. Registration opens on March 12th. A link will be sent out soon.
New later start time: We will also be starting a little later to accommodate our busy families with a 5:15pm check in instead of 4:45pm.
If you have a business, consider donating one of your services or products. Or if you know some local vendors, ask if they’ll make a donation. Some great auction prizes could include tickets to sporting events, a weekend stay at a vacation property, restaurant gift certificates, and movie passes, anything you can think of would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Hilary Simonds at firstname.lastname@example.org to either drop off a donation or facilitate collection of it.
Another option for our only fundraiser of the year is to make a financial contribution that will be used to purchase silent auction items - any amount is appreciated. Additionally, if you cannot attend the hunt but still want to support Bryan, the registration page will offer an option to simply make a financial contribution to the PTA and our Bryan students. If you’d like to contribute, please use our Bryan MemberHub Store here. https://bmselmhurst.memberhub.store/shopping/categories/29162
Past Treasure Hunts have supported the following: the new Gaga pit, new American and Illinois flags, the Veterans Day assembly, and we have a new library furniture upgrade coming this spring.
Our fundraising goal for this hunt is $12,750. The next $1500 we raise above this we will donate to the District 205 Foundation in support of all Elmhurst schools. In the past, the Foundation has provided Thiems grants for our teachers, 3D printers, our model classroom and much more.
Thank you all in advance for your support of this fundraising effort. We couldn’t do it without our wonderful Bryan community. See you on Saturday, April 18th!
