ABOUT MRS. FLAHERTY

I am so excited to be teaching here at Bryan Middle School! This is my 13th year teaching! I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  This year I am teaching 8th grade English and 7th grade English. In the past I have taught 7th and 8th grade English and Social Studies, as well as worked as a Reading Specialist teaching 6th-8th grade level Reading Strategies.  I have my undergraduate degree in Education from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and my Masters in Literacy and Reading Education from Concordia.  I love to spend time with family and friends, read, travel, and cheer on my teams, Go Cubs!
