Welcome to the 24/25 school year at Bryan Middle School!

The PTA Board is excited to begin the year with our membership drive! Membership opened to all, parents and teachers, for the new school year on August 1, 2024 (new membership annually). Some PTA Perks: Your membership allows you to vote on important PTA initiatives that support our students and staff and let your student(s) attend PTA-sponsored events at no cost or a reduced cost vs. non-PTA members. These events include, but are not limited to: grade-level socials, 7th/8th Grade dance classes, and the 8th grade boat trip. PTA members are sent a link for registration to all PTA-sponsored events first, while non-PTA members will receive a separate link once members have registered.

QR codes will be posted around the building or you may use the link below to sign up.

The PTA is hard at work planning the 8th-grade tailgate, our first social of the year, which will be followed by a movie night for our 7th grade and a sky zone afternoon for our 6th graders.

Last year, the PTA started the Calendar Raffle and a Musical Trivia night as our new fundraisers, and to say these two events were aBryan Parents Instagram Page hit is an understatement! With the funds raised for these two events, the PTA purchased a scorer's table and new sideline chairs for our Bryan Athletic Department! This could not have been possible without the amazing donations from our Bryan Community. This year, we plan to fund all (over 30) clubs, sports, and activities with a $100 stipend each, assuring that funds raised go back to our teachers and staff.

We are again looking for donations for prizes to be included in our Calendar Raffle which takes place each day in November. Examples of some great prizes in last year's raffle: a nice bottle of wine, Kie & Kate Shopping Night, and Chicago Bears tickets! Prizes must be valued at least $25 or more. Please reach out to Maureen Franchi if you would like to assist with soliciting prizes or have a prize to donate:  mfranchifamily@gmail.com

We have plenty of low-key/work-from-home volunteer opportunities for those new to Bryan or those who would like to get more involved.  Please reach out to our VP, Andrea San Luis, for more information: andreaandwarren@gmail.com

We look forward to partnering with you to make this year a huge success for our Bryan Bears!

Cheers-

Your PTA Board

Kate Prasse, Andrea San Luis, Meghan Hood, Dianne Schenkenberg, Katie Hartley, and Caroline Nero
