Greetings Bryan Families,
We are writing to share some information about our building and to give some important information for school today.
Due to the extreme weather, a water main broke near Bryan Middle School and was reported to us at 7 AM this morning. Our facilities team responded immediately and will be working throughout the day to repair the broken pipe. As a result, Bryan will not have water today and will be unable to hold in-person learning.
Bryan Middle School will have an e-learning day today. We understand that this is a shift and greatly appreciate your support in this unexpected situation.
School buses will run their normal routes today in the event there are students that did not receive this message in time and are waiting at bus stops to let students know that there is no in-person learning today. They will not pick up students.
Devices: Students will need access to a device throughout the day.
Personal devices may be used if available. Students should access Google Classroom through their Google accounts. If you/your student do not know your email and/or password, please contact flexlearninghelp@elmhurst205.org and a team member will be able to support.
For any student that did not bring their device home last night, D205 student devices will be available for pick-up today until 10am at the Main Entrance.
Schedule: We will follow the flexible learning schedule which can be found on our website following this link: https://www.elmhurst205.org/page/middle-school-flexible-learning-schedule
We will continue to keep families updated as we learn more. Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we ensure students are able to continue with school today. As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions.
In partnership,
Jacquie Discipio, Principal
Dr. Keisha Campbell, Superintendent
